In close relation with the actors and authorities of the national and international equestrian sector, supported by our supervisory ministry and by local and regional authorities, the Club Hippique de Nice weaves essential logistical and financial partnerships guaranteeing its ambitions both of the organization of major equestrian events than in the development of activities within the club or in the support of riders during external competitions. Thank you for the involvement of all these partners, without whom this new International Jumping Competition of Nice 1*, Ladies 1*, Am.A - Summer 2022 would probably never have been possible.
The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) created in 1921, is the governing body for equestrian sports at the international level. The FEI, recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), is the sole authority for international competitions in dressage, show jumping, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting and reining. It establishes the regulations and approves the equestrian programs for the championships, the regional games and the Olympic Games.
Horse riding has been on the Olympic program since 1912 with three disciplines: show jumping, dressage and eventing. Her Royal Highness, Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein of Jordan has been its President since May 2, 2006.

The PACA Regional Council. The Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region is made up of varied territories, between sea and mountain. It extends over 31,000 km². More than 4.743 million men and women live there, 20% of whom are under 20 years old. From the mountains of the Alps (departments of the Alpes de Haute-Provence and Hautes-Alpes) sliding through the hinterland of Nice towards the Côte d'Azur and its coast (department of the Alpes-Maritimes), we reach the foothills by the coast of Provence (Department of Var) to enter it on one level (departments of Bouches-du-Rhône and Vaucluse). These six departments that make up the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur administrative region are the very image and strength of this region, a land of contrasts.
From the mountainous regions with the massifs of Ecrins (Hautes-Alpes), Ventoux (Vaucluse) and Mercantour (Alpes-Maritimes), we walk towards territories of hills and plateaus which extend between sea and mountains, plain and high mountains (Alpilles chain). On the coast (900 km with the Islands) follow one another low shores (La Camargue and La Crau, preserved areas) and the highest cliffs in Europe (the creeks). A coastline towards which the Rhône and the Durance run aground, a river and a river bordered by fertile plains for all types of cultivation (vegetable and wine).
In its implementation, the Region's commitment continues by favoring partnership logic with State services, general councils, municipalities and communities of municipalities and of course in direct consultation with the regional sports association movement.
